Each year, the Harbour Breton Tradition by the Sea committee hosts Tradition by the Sea- a celebration of the heritage of the town, it's historical dependency on the sea and it's people who have endured many hardships over the years to make Harbour Breton the town it is today. During the celebrations we will be highlighting our distinct culture in our song, dance, food and mostly through our people. At this time, townspeople dress in period costume and attend the many events around town. So, chart your course each summer to the "Old Capital of Fortune Bay" and experience "Tradition by the Sea".
